Kanika was introduced in the Tamil movie industry with Five Star. She has now a long way after her debut movie. Her movie with Ajith Varalaru was a hit one. Now she has been roped in to play the female lead role in the Malayalam movie named Pazhassi Raja. In the movie Mammootty plays the lead role. Recently the shooting of the movie was held in Chennai and the crew is back to Pazhassi in Kerala for the shooting of major scenes in the movie.
